Our Story

What began as a personal hobby has developed into a full-time lifestyle.  Tim began homebrewing beer in 1993 as a hobby with our neighbor.  It was enjoyable, but lonely as Brenda was busy keeping our three sons busy and out of the way from that "stinky" beer.  In 1997 Tim created a secondary kitchen where he could brew beer in his own environment with quality appliances, a large sink and exhaust system.  Then in 2004 our Couples First Bible-Study group discovered winemaking as a social activity among our married friends and it was so much fun that our hobby became our profession!  Since 2011, Fermentations has been our passion and full-time retirement gig.  We have made thousands of friends over the years, and truly enjoy our "hobby."
